Finally! Someone gets the Music awards right! Steven Price easily has the best soundtrack of 2013 and Please Mr. Kennedy is without question the best original song of the year. Also, love the Cumberbatch nod for best villain! As always, excellent work Moe :).
Yay! Thanks so much Joe for your kind words. This was a really fun post to create. 🙂
Some excellent choices.
Thanks so much! Glad you like them. 😀
I love seeing the mentions of The Way Way Back, Short Term 12, and Side Effects on this list. All rank among my favorites and deserve more attention. I also agree with Pacific Rim as the best action film. I think expectations were so high for some that they ended up being disappointed. I had a lot of fun with it. You’re also right on with Captain Phillips for suspense. Even knowing the ending, that was still intense.
Thanks Dan! Those three films are criminally underrated and deserve more attention. Pacific Rim was a no-holds-barred action flick that took me by surprise. Captain Phillips was simply Greengrass and Hanks in top form. Thank you for the awesome comment. 🙂
